Cube Exploration and analysis
Query & Analysis allows users to explore from a report to a transaction in SunSystems, in every available way. The result is displayed from the OLAP and relational bases in the form of a multidimensional cube. It is a powerful and intuitive "business intelligence" tool, which provides results that can be further explored, shown on the graph or preserved as cubes, and, if needed, sent email to other users. Strategic analysis delivering relevant information to relevant people on time, Query & Analysis enables managers to analyze data and accurately measure efficiencies, and then use this information for goal-setting and forecasting purposes.
Query & Analysis Executive
By enabling a holistic view of the company's health, Query & Analysis Executive is a dynamic analytic and report application that provides powerful analytical capabilities such as exploration, development, breakdown and cube analysis. These features make it easy for users to analyze trends, issues, and opportunities that are often hidden in transactional data. The analytical procedures used may be saved and re-created in the future. Query & Analysis Executive also includes many other features, such as connecting to data from multiple applications in a single concise report, and publishing BOMs to the Web.
Query & Analysis XL
Query & Analysis XL is an addition to Microsoft Excel ®, which enables faster, easier and more customized way of analyzing business data. It is not necessary to understand the advanced structure of the database to create reports, because the information is provided in an intuitive interface with SunSystems names of functions and fields. Functionality includes the ability to publish Web reports, Report and query wizards, Cube Analysis, Report Designer, extraction modes for statistical reporting, create macros automate XL features, and control permissions to the data.
Query & Analysis Alert (optional)
Query & Analysis Alert automatically manages, runs, and distributes reports based on scheduled events. This component enhances the ability to identify, analyze, and report on efficiency and trends hidden in the database and facilitate the delivery of information by automating the reporting process. Users can create, edit, and schedule tasks, processed by calendar, or triggered by an event. The Alert has a direct connection to other Query & Analysis components, such as XL and NetEnterprise.
